‌Inconel625 is a high-performance nickel-based alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength. It is widely used in aerospace, chemical industry, marine engineering and nuclear energy. ‌‌

The main chemical components of Inconel625 include nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), niobium (Nb) and other elements. The nickel content is usually between 58% and 71%, providing good corrosion resistance and high-temperature performance; the chromium content is about 20% to 23%, which enhances the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance of the alloy; the molybdenum content is between 8% and 10%, which helps to improve the strength and pitting resistance of the alloy; the niobium content is between 3.15% and 5%, which further improves the strength, hardness and corrosion resistance of the alloy.

Inconel625 has excellent physical properties, with a density of about 8.44g/cm³, a melting point between 1290℃ and 1350℃, a thermal conductivity of 12.1W/m•℃ at 100℃, and a specific heat capacity of 430J/kg•℃. Its elastic modulus is 205GPa, shear modulus is 79GPa, and resistivity is 1.28μΩ•m. These physical properties enable Inconel625 to work stably in the temperature range of -200℃ to 980℃, and adapt to a variety of high-temperature application scenarios.

Inconel625 performs well in extreme environments and can resist corrosion from a variety of chemical media, including salt water, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, etc. Its excellent mechanical properties include high strength, high toughness and good fatigue strength, and it can maintain good strength and hardness even in high temperature environments. In addition, Inconel625 has high fracture toughness and can effectively resist stress corrosion cracking, especially in chloride environments.

In terms of application, Inconel625 is widely used in engine parts, turbine blades and combustion chambers in the aerospace field; in the chemical industry for the manufacture of reactors, heat exchangers and piping systems; in marine engineering for offshore oil and gas extraction equipment; in the nuclear energy field for the manufacture of reactor parts and structural materials for high-temperature gas-cooled reactors. Its excellent radiation resistance and mechanical properties make it particularly important in these applications.

After softening and annealing, low-carbon alloy 625 is widely used in the chemical process industry. Its good corrosion resistance and high strength enable it to be used as thinner structural components.
